Theresa Ansaa Anafi is a development practitioner experienced in programme management, strategic planning, policy development and community development within the context of international development and local governance. She is skilled in advocacy, managing donor funded programmes, institutional planning processes, research, developing strategic partnerships and gender mainstreaming.
Theresa is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) who has led projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Women Economic Empowerment, Community Capacity Building, Youth Development and Mentorship, STEM Promotion, Leadership Development and Women, Peace and Security.
Theresa holds a certificate in Public Management from the Arizona State University, Phoenix, an MSc in Environmental Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Certificate in Communication Skills and Promotion of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises from the National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in India.
Theresa loves to use her experience and expertise to support causes for women, youth and children in her community and has volunteered with several International organizations. She is a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leaders by the US Department of State and Irex.
